The College stands in prayer and solidarity with families, businesses, health providers, governments and broader community groups as collectively we manage and resolve COVID-19 challenges. As we enter this next phase of remote learning, staff are harnessing much of what they learned in Term 2 to ensure that students remain invested in their learning. Prospective OLMC parents and students who were hoping to participate in a College Tour will continue to have virtual tour options, scheduled for 12 August and 17 August (refer to the Enrolments page of this website for more information).
As Term 2 draws to a close, it was timely for our Student Leaders to host a whole-school assembly via Googlemeet. Each of the Co-Captains of specialist areas (e.g. Houses, Arts, Sport, Faith and Justice) presented a ‘wrap-up’ of the term and went on to signal what activities and events were planned for Term 3. Our Principal, Judith Weir, then delivered an unequivocal and powerful message of congratulations to all OLMC students for the myriad ways they had coped with the challenges of Term 2.
